Partnership can be a sell-out moment or a marquee moment. To make sure we built a high impact marquee moment in the partnership with the NFL we literally inserted the Burger King brand into NFL culture. We took iconic NFL plays and re-wrote history. Our approach was a massive land grab. And it worked.
The content drove Shroom & Swiss Burger sales beyond the goal by 8% and sweepstakes entries up 180%.
We even had The King sign TO’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus to do all the mouth work.
And we garnered press. But nothing was as good as the 3 minute MAYNE EVENT piece that ESPN put together to run the stats and special interviews with Hall of Famers and The King himself.
